He's just been named captain of the Ursa Major, a starship tasked with finding the only person who can save his dying planet. Unfortunately for Caelum, he has zero leadership skills, a flair for dramatics, and a long-standing reputation for not living up to his father’s impossibly high expectations.

Andromeda Eris of the Terra 5 space station is a future leader, part-time spaceship mechanic, full-time overachiever, and has finally received her first real mission. Things go sideways fast, and she ends up face-to-face with the one person she swore to never trust: the smug, overly ornate Ashiran prince she’s loathed since childhood.

Bound by a shared mission and a history soaked in betrayal, Caelum and Andi must overcome centuries of animosity to track down a legendary figure who may hold the key to Ashira’s survival. But the deeper they venture into the unknown, the more dangerous the stakes — and the closer they grow to each other.
